Welcome to the Saw Dust Dude, Like & Subscribe

My Granddaddy King ran a sawmill and my dad was a manager for a large lumber and construction company in South Carolina so I guess you can say that Saw Dust runs in my blood (and in my lungs). Whether it was in 4-H or Boy Scouts, on the farm or around the house, I’ve been working with wood from an early age.

Later in life, running my own construction company, my workers began telling me that I was good at teaching them a trade.  So, after many conversations, they encouraged me to start a YouTube channel.  So, I purchased a Go Pro camera and here I am!

Most carpenters or woodworkers won't share their tools, but the good ones will share their knowledge. “Can I show you this little trick”, I’m very thankful that skilled carpenters watched me work and then offered me their advanced skills to help me to become a better craftsman, I'm a better woodworker because of their willingness to teach others.
